Whenever we work magick we create. What we visualize becomes real; our thoughts create mass and substance.  What we produce from our own creative minds has form and essence. And as long as we keep feeding our creations from our vast stores of energy, they continue to exist. This same thought process works for the creation of elemental forms, beings that are very real, though not always visible to the naked eye. These creations of our magick can serve us in many ways such as guarding us, warning us of dangers, repelling baneful energies, helping to find lost objects, leading us to plants and herbs for healing, watching over children and pets, aiding in divination, etc.

Wait a minute, aren’t the Fey sometimes tricky and don’t they like to hide objects?  Do we really want to create a spirit that may cause us problems?  Well of course we don’t.  And we won’t.  What we are creating is not a real Faerie, but a thoughtform being whose only purpose is to do what we ask it to.  When we’re finished tonight our thoughtform Faeries will dissolve into the Earth and the energy will harmlessly dissipate. 

Creating Your Faerie

This work must be done within a Cast Circle. Begin by thinking of a task that you wish the Faerie to perform for you. It could be something simple like finding lost objects or aiding in divination, or something more complex like healing a specific ailment. Whatever it may be, focus on this task and the intention behind it.

To begin making your Faerie, you’ll have to concentrate intensely and use your visualization skills.   Once you’ve formed your Faeries you’ll give it a blast of your own energy by using the Odic Breath.

Hold your hands up in front of you with your palms facing each other. This is the area in which your faerie being will gather energy and grow. Start by vigorously rubbing your palms together, feeling the heat and energy made by the friction.

Now move your palms apart just a few inches and focus on feeling chakras in your palms expanding. Sense a growing mass of energy forming between them. With your mind, create an even greater energy field growing, spinning, and enlarging between your palms until you are forced to move them apart a few more inches.

Keep up this visualization process until your hands feel pushed approximately two feet apart. Now see the energy forming into the physical body of your Faerie. Make its appearance just as clear as you can. Give it facial features coloring and wings.

Now that you can see the features of your Faerie clearly it’s time to give Her energy.  Visualize a sphere of pink light above your head.   Mentally draw the light down into your head and bring it to rest directly between your eyebrows.  Concentrate strongly on the Faerie and its nature.

Focus on your desire. The life of this Faerie will be devoted to it. You have willed it so!

Rouse your emotions to charge your blood with the desire for the outcome:

Begin deep breathing through the mouth only, taking in and releasing breaths in succession while pulling in the stomach muscles.  To idea is to keep the air out of your stomach and only in your lungs. Hold the breaths on the next inhale and mentally transfer the image of your desire to the heart area. Slowly release the breath out onto your Fairy.  Mentally transfer the image of your desire, seeing the image carried out on the breath.  Your desire is now magically transferred into your Faerie and She will vibrate with the energy of your desire.  This transferral of energy through your mouth is called the Odic Breath.

Now you’ll give your Faerie a name that is relevant to the work she’ll perform.  Say with conviction:  I name you ------------ Faerie!  

Say, (name) Faerie, you will be contained within this Magick Circle and will help me to ----------------------------.  Your Faerie hands will guide me.

You will begin to work now and will continue to help me until the Circle is opened.  Once the Circle is opened tonight, the energy that animates you will sink harmlessly into the ground.
