Autumn Storm

Feb 2011

Well true to my word I have started planning my garden.

For now though I have started indoors with a small kitchen garden. I have recycled a planter from a yuletime gift and turned it into my kitchen garden.  I am by no means a culinary expert and tend to use the more common herbs in my cooking, so I have started with a couple of types of chives, some greek oregano and some lemon thyme.  (I will post a picture soon.) With time, and some experimenting, I will add to my herbs, but most likely in my outdoor garden.

Take a moment to look outside as it seems that Ostara is on its way.

As Ostara approaches I shall start making a list of the magickal herbs that I shall incorporate into my outdoor garden.

(A dear friend and witch has introduced me to a labyrinth that I may use in my front garden.  I will keep you updated.)

Til we Meet again!

Blessed Be!

Jan 2011

As with the coming Sabbat of Candlemas, which brings the beginnings of new growth...comes the new project for our lovely Coven...this website. It will be very interesting to see how it grows with the turning of the wheel. How fitting that our creative juices came to this at this time of the year.

Welcome and Bright Blessings!!!

I am Autumn Storm, though feel free to call me Autumn.

Well I have been a witch forever, though I didn't know it at the time. I have been a member of Sacred Haven Coven from the beginning. It has been an education right from the start. You never know it all, and right when you think you have something pegged you learn something new and now you view it differently.

I couldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for each of my Coven sisters, past and present. I have learned something from each and every one of them and I know I will continue to for years to come. One of the many great things about a Coven is that everyone has different interests and can inspire you to know more.

This year, besides working on this website, I want to work on my garden. Each year I dream of what I want to do, and how I want to do it...but something always holds me back...well this year I am going to start. I am not going to dive in and complete it all at once, but start small and with Gaia's help, my green thumb isn't always working, I will finally get started. (Hey just because we are Wiccan doesn't mean we are good at everything) My first goal is to have a small tea garden. I know with assistance (meaning advice) from my Sisters I will have what I am aiming for. I will keep you updated with pictures throughout the year.

Wish me luck!!!
